Fanatics Betting and Gaming has announced the launch of Fanatics Sportsbook in West Virginia. Along with going live with its sports betting operations, the company will use the mark launch to debut its new online casino gaming product. The app is now available for iOS and Android devices.
Incorporated into the Fanatics Sportsbook app, the company has now introduced an online casino, featuring games such as roulette, slots, blackjack, and the new Fanatics Blackjack, exclusively available to app users. The company plans to add more games and features to the online casino soon.
This development follows Fanatics Betting and Gaming’s acquisition of PointsBet’s U.S. operations in August 2023. PointsBet customers in West Virginia have the option to migrate to Fanatics Sportsbook, with automatic transfer of account details such as username, password, balance, and reward points.

Fanatics Sportsbook is also launching its rewards program in the state. FanCash, the backbone of the Fanatics loyalty program, can be converted dollar-for-dollar into Bonus Bets and can also be used to purchase team merchandise at Fanatics.com. Users can earn 5% FanCash on Same Game Parlay (SGP) bets, 3% on parlay bets, and 1% on straight bets and odds boosts.
Meanwhile, the Fanatics Sportsbook Discover page will have principal games, trending bets, promos and rewards. In the near future, the Discover page will be personalized to the customer’s favorite teams, sports and markets.
The Fanatics Sportsbook also offers a search bar functionality, with recent searches, autocomplete, synonym/alias and deep linking to leagues, events and markets.

Moreover, the company has launched its BetVision service, a live sports betting product that enables customers to place bets while live streaming select professional football games in the sportsbook app.
The West Virginia launch follows the aforementioned acquisition of PointsBet’s US assets, which enables Fanatics to go live in a number of states as approval is secured. In October, FBG completed the acquisition of its operations in New York and Wyoming; and before that, in September, Fanatics was also approved for acquiring PointsBet US in eight other states, including West Virginia.
The other states comprised New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland and Virginia. PointsBet is set to continue operating in Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan and Ohio until FBG closes on selected states individually.
