A woman was arrested on Saturday after she assaulted two Pennsylvania state troopers, a casino employee, and a good Samaritan at the Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, police said.
Kaleigh McManus, 33, of New Haven, Conn., eventually was apprehended. She was charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct.
She was booked at the Washington County jail, according to Pennsylvania TV station WHTM. She was released from custody after posting $2K bond. Her case was turned over to local prosecutors.
The incident began when McManus walked into a restricted location at the Washington, Pa. gaming property. She was approached by a casino worker. McManus then allegedly punched the employee in the face.
The good Samaritan saw the assault and also approached McManus. McManus then allegedly punched that person twice in the face.
Then, McManus tried to run out of the casino via an emergency exit. Casino security guards stopped her.
Two state troopers attempted to arrest her. But she assaulted them, police said. Eventually, she was placed in custody. No one was seriously injured.
Montana Casino Site of Deadly Shooting
A man was identified this week after being shot and killed outside of a Billings, Montana bar and gaming facility on Thursday.
Marshall William Wilson, 46, underwent an autopsy by the Yellowstone County Coroner’s Office. It confirmed he was killed by gunfire.
Two others at the casino also were injured by gunfire, but are expected to recover, authorities said. One was a man, the other a woman.
The incident began with an argument. That led Wilson to shoot the unnamed 38-year-old woman and 42-year-old man while in a parking lot. Both victims were wounded.
The female pulled out a firearm and attempted to shoot Wilson. Then, a 25-year-old person, who witnessed the shooting, shot Wilson, authorities said. That shooter was not identified.
Wilson died at the scene, according to Montana TV station KTVQ.
Police were notified about the shooting at 1:52 a.m. on Thursday. No arrests were made as of the weekend.
Billings Police Chief Rich St. John told KTVQ that the 25-year-old man who shot Wilson could be charged. Police continued to investigate the shootings as of Tuesday.
None of those involved in the shootings knew each other before the dispute broke out, authorities said.
The bar/casino was identified as the Reno Club.
