In a landmark deal for the company, Gaming Innovation Group Software Plc (GiG) has announced its expansion into the Asian iGaming market through a significant partnership with Bloomberry Resorts Corporation and its flagship property, Solaire Resorts. This collaboration marks GiG’s inaugural entry into Asia, an important milestone in the company’s ongoing global growth strategy.
Bloomberry Resorts Corporation, the powerhouse behind the luxurious Solaire Resort Entertainment City in Manila, the Philippines, and other properties, including Solaire Resort North and Solaire Online, is a well-established leader in the region’s hospitality and gaming sectors. With an expansive footprint in the Philippines and investments in South Korea, Bloomberry has solidified its status as a prominent player in the Asia-Pacific resort and gaming landscape. Through this new agreement, GiG will equip Bloomberry and Solaire with a suite of innovative technology solutions designed to enhance the group’s online gaming operations in the Philippines.
“This is a landmark moment for GiG as we enter the Asian iGaming market for the first time and continue to deliver on our strategic objectives, enlarging our total addressable market,” said Richard Carter, CEO of GiG, in a company announcement. “Our experience in delivering cutting-edge iGaming solutions in evolving regulatory environments, together with Bloomberry’s established market presence, means GiG is poised to take full advantage of the region’s growing online gaming sector.”
Advanced Technology Solutions to Elevate Solaire’s Online Gaming Platform
Under this agreement, GiG will provide Solaire with access to its state-of-the-art CoreX iGaming platform. Known for its scalability, CoreX is designed to meet the dynamic demands of the gaming industry, offering Bloomberry a robust foundation to support their online gaming initiatives. In addition to the CoreX platform, Bloomberry and Solaire will gain access to GiG’s advanced AI-driven tools, DataX and LogicX, which play crucial roles in optimizing player engagement and enhancing operational decision-making.
These AI tools are set to transform how Solaire operates its online gaming offerings, providing data-driven insights and automating processes to boost both customer acquisition and retention. DataX and LogicX leverage machine learning to refine decision-making and rule-based processes, creating a more efficient and responsive online gaming environment. The integration of such advanced tools demonstrates GiG’s commitment to supporting its partners with the latest in technology, enabling them to thrive in increasingly competitive and regulated markets.
The growth trajectory of the Philippines’ online gaming industry is highly promising, with projected revenues expected to reach approximately $865 million by 2029. The sector is anticipated to grow at an annual rate of 4.9% over the next five years, bolstered by an expanding user base that could surpass 18 million, according to the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). GiG’s entry into this evolving market allows the company to capitalize on this growth potential while meeting the demand for regulated, high-quality gaming experiences in the region.
