The Hoover Dam tops the list, known for its groundbreaking engineering and rich history. Built during the Great Depression, the dam controls the flooding of the Colorado River and sits on the border between Nevada and Arizona. Its beautiful desert landscapes and hiking trails give it the second-highest percentage of positive reviews (96%), making it a hit with nature lovers. Methodology
To find out the most fulfilling tourist attractions in Las Vegas, the US and Canada, we analyzed Tripadvisor reviews for each tourist attraction, working out which percentage of them were “good” and “excellent”.
We also measured social media engagement from Instagram and TikTok, analyzing how many Instagram posts and TikTok posts were tagged with the relevant hashtag for each tourist attraction: e.g #horeshoefalls.
The tourist attractions were ranked based on their overall satisfaction scores, social media scores and the volume of positive online reviews. Please note that more weighting was given to Tripadvisor ratings than Instagram and TikTok data when creating the final score.
