England’s fast bowler, Brydon Carse, has been banned from cricket for three months due to betting violations.
The 28-year-old, originally from South Africa, was suspended right away. However, he can train and will be ready to play again in time for the last four games of the season.

Carse has been banned for 16 months, but 13 of those months were delayed for two years. This arrangement allows him to play again on August 28. He was charged with betting 303 times on different cricket games between 2017 and 2019, but none on games in which he played.
Nonetheless, betting ethics rules say that professional cricketers can’t bet on the game anywhere in the world.

Since 2016, Brydon Carse has played for Durham. He has also played in 14 One-Day internationals and three Twenty20 internationals for England. He agreed to the decision that he had placed 303 bets on different cricket games. Furthermore, he expressed his gratitude to Durham for their support.
The 28-year-old, has a two-year core contract with the ECB. He hasn’t played cricket for his country or the Lions since December.

Future Prospects for Brydon Carse
Carse last played for England in a one-day international in December of last year, when they played the West Indies in Antigua.
Carson won’t be able to play in his first Test match this season because of his suspension.
