The Asian rivals will face stiff competition from co-hosts USA, Canada and Ireland in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
The marquee event is just around the corner.With 20 teams battling it out for the most coveted title in T20I cricket. In Group A, a pair of neighbors – India and Pakistan along with the USA and Canada – will be joined by Ireland.

USA
The USA starts a historic journey when they play in their first ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. In addition, earn the right to co-host the event.
They haven’t played since 2004 when they made it to the group stages of the Champions Trophy. Monank Patel, Aaron Jones, and Steven Taylor will all be very important at the plate.
Corey Anderson, a former New Zealand international, has been added to the middle order to give it more depth and experience.

At the upcoming event, Canada’s captain will be the experienced Saad Bin Zafar. In addition, the team has only four players under the age of 30.
It was a surprise that hitter Kanwarpal Tathgur, who has only played six List-A games, was put on the team.

India

India is now ready to win the title again after losing it in the first tournament in 2007. They have a strong team that is ready to go.
The team has a strong top order with players like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, and Suryakumar Yadav. Rohit Sharma, who is starting his second T20 World Cup as captain, leads the team with experience.
Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson are both in great form right now. Hence, this makes it hard for Rohit and the team management to choose a wicket-keeper for the World Cup.
Players like Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, and Shivam Dube make the team stronger and more flexible.
Bowling has a lot of great players, like Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, and others. Moreover, making for a well-rounded team.

Pakistan
Pakistan and India have both come very close to winning an ICC title.
In the last two T20 World Cups, they made it to the semi-finals and final, but failed to win either time.
