The EAPT has gone from strength to strength in recent years, and things are about to explode in North Cyprus this May. Not only is the EAPT running a $2,200 EAPT Grand Final and a $1,100 EAPT Cyprus event, but those two tournaments make up part of the bustling Mediterranean Poker Party schedule, meaning their guaranteed prize pools are huge.
The $2,200 EAPT Grand Final will be massive, not least because it boasts a $2 million guarantee on its prize pool. PokerNews‘ live reporting team will be on the tournament floor at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel & Spa throughout the EAPT Grand Final, which runs May 4-8.
Recent EAPT Malta champion Lorenzo Di Blasi will be in attendance after receiving a €5,000 package on top of the €50,225 cash prize. Antonio Puntas, the EAPT Madrid champion, and winner of EAPT Bratislava, Miklos Zsuffa, will also be flexing their poker muscles in the 2024 EAPT Grand Final after winning similar packages.

The Mediterranean Poker Party (MPP) runs from May 2 to 12. It combines five-star luxury, glorious sunshine, and hot poker action at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel & Spa.
In addition to the pair of EAPT events, the $5,300 buy-in, $5 million guaranteed MPP Main Event has players tingling with excitement. Thanks to the influx of satellite winners, there is every chance that the 2024 MPP Main Event will be one of the softest $5K live events on the live poker tournament calendar.
Over 250 players have won their seats via live and online satellites, with more expected to turn small investments into a shot at the big time in the coming days.
