Maroon 5 will headline the Inspire Entertainment Resort’s arena opening next month.
The three-time Grammy Award pop/rock band fronted by Adam Levine will headline the Inspire Arena on March 8 and 9. Several popular K-pop artists will serve as opening acts beginning on March 2.
The Inspire Arena is a 15,000-seat concert venue at the integrated resort casino destination. Inspire welcomed its first hotel guests on November 30. The casino space commenced operations earlier this month.
The arena is the latest amenity to open at the $1.6 billion complex adjacent to Incheon International Airport.
It is a thrill to see Mohegan Inspire gear up for this grand opening celebration, a testament to the hard work and dedication that has brought us to this moment,” Chen Si, president of Inspire, said in a release provided to Casino.org. “This milestone brings an unparalleled resort experience to visitors of all backgrounds.”
Tickets go on sale for the Maroon 5 shows starting February 15 through Interpark, South Korea’s version of Ticketmaster.
Mohegan, formerly Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, is behind the Inspire project. The Mohegan Tribe in Connecticut owns the company.
Mohegan owns and/or operates seven casino resorts in North America, including Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, Mohegan Pennsylvania, Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, ilani in Washington, Mohegan Sun at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, and Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara in Ontario, Canada.
March 2 Employee Concert
Inspire Arena will formally open its doors on March 2 with a special concert from “iconic K-pop artists.” The free event is Mohegan’s “heartfelt expression of gratitude towards the local community, Inspire employees, families, Momentum membership members, and VIP guests.”
After Maroon 5’s two shows, the arena will continue to host Korean music acts throughout the month. The facility will also host the 2024 World Table Tennis Champions Incheon tournament from March 27 to 31. The sporting event will showcase 32 world-class players.
Mohegan says Inspire will offer a wide-ranging lineup of events to bring all sorts of demographics to the destination.
“Hosting Maroon 5 and an array of world-class entertainment reflects our commitment to providing exceptional experiences. We’re ready to set a new benchmark in hospitality and entertainment, welcoming guests from around the globe to discover the magic of Inspire,” added Ray Pineault, president and CEO of Mohegan.
