Saturday Premier League tips
Everton to win v Manchester United @ 6/4
Bournemouth to win and both teams to score v Wolves @ 2/1
Ollie Watkins to score anytime v Chelsea @ 8/5
Everton vs Manchester United (12:30)
Everton’s long goodbye to Goodison Park spurred them to an impressive result against Liverpool and they can repeat the trick against Manchester United.
David Moyes looks well-placed to get one over his former side, having led Everton to four wins and a draw from their previous five Premier League games. The Toffees host a United side who are a place below them in 15th, with the Red Devils losing three of their last four in the league.
United have won just three of their 12 league trips this term and they have lost half of their visits to bottom-half sides. Everton have won four of their five home meetings with sides 11th or lower, so back them for the points.
Bournemouth vs Wolves (15:00)
Wolves are hovering above the drop zone in the Premier League ahead of this visit to fifth-placed Bournemouth. Vitor Pereira’s side have lost 11 of their 12 meetings with the top seven this term, including all seven matches at home.
Meanwhile, the Cherries have won four of their last five in all competitions and they should be confident of another victory.
The visitors do have a solid scoring record behind them, netting 19 times in their 13 away games so far. Back them to score in another defeat to a top side.
Aston Villa vs Chelsea (17:30)
Chelsea are in terrible shape, but they have had time on the training ground in the aftermath of last Friday’s hammering at Brighton. The Blues have lost four of their last five away trips and their terrible form has sent them sliding down the table.
Aston Villa are without a league win in five following Wednesday’s 2-2 draw with leaders Liverpool.
The Villains do have an in-form Ollie Watkins driving them forward, with the England international seeming settled following Jhon Duran’s departure in January.
Watkins has scored in each of Villa’s last three home games and he can exploit this Chelsea defence.
