The Asian Poker Tour (APT) has unveiled its highly anticipated 2025 season schedule, promising an unforgettable year for players and fans alike.
This season brings exciting changes, including the debut of the APT Championship (APTC)—a groundbreaking series finale offering the largest prize pool guarantee in APT history.
Kicking off the action is the APT Manila Classic, running from February 7 to 16 at the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria.
APT Championship (APTC) Rounds Out the Season
New for 2025, the APT has also unveiled the APT Championship (APTC) which will close the 2025 season from November 14 to 30. Hosted at the Red Point Business Center in Taipei, Taiwan, in partnership with the Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Club (CTP), the festival runs for 17 days — the longest in the tour’s history.
The marquee APTC Main Event is a freezout, and features a TWD 350,000 (~USD 10,700) buy-in and the tour’s largest-ever guarantee: TWD 165 million (~USD 5 million).
There will be plenty of opportunities over the course of the 2025 season to satellite into the APTC Main Event, but for now tournament organizers have announced that the winners of the APT Main Event, APT Super High Roller, and APT High Roller at any 2025 festival will secure a coveted seat.
APT Manila Classic
The first chance to win your way to the APT Championship comes in the Philippines, with the APT Manila Classic 2025.
Running from Friday, February 7, to Sunday, February 16, in partnership with Metro Card Club, this exciting 10-day poker series will unfold at the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria.
During the APT’s last visit to Manila, Daniel Lee claimed victory, topping a record-breaking field of 1,081 players in the APT Main Event. He walked away with his first major title and the lion’s share of the PHP 100 million (~USD 1.7 million) prize pool.
This year, expectations are even higher. With 100 tournaments on the schedule, the series offers a staggering PHP 120 million (~USD 2 million) total prize pool guarantee, with The APT Main Event alone boasting a PHP 60 million (~USD 1 million) prize pool guarantee.
