Texapoker are the brains behind the NPS, so you know the festival will be exciting throughout and run as smooth as butter! Online poker players based in France can qualify for various NPS events at Winamax.
The NPS Aix-en-Provence runs from January 24 through to February 2. Several daily tournaments adorn the bustling schedule, each with affordable buy-ins. Those buy-ins range from €140 for satellites up to €800 for the eagerly anticipated Main Event.
€800 Buy-in 6-Max Main Event
Although every tournament on the NPS Aix-en-Provence schedule is worth checking out, the €800 buy-in Main Event is the crown jewel. Called the NPS King 6-Max 800, the festival’s Main Event features a trio of starting flights, each with one re-entry permitted, running from January 30-31. Day 2 starts on February 1, with the final day’s play scheduled for February 2.
Each Day 1 sees players sit down on six-handed tables armed with 60,000 chips. Levels last 50 minutes and start at only 100/300 with a 300 big blind ante, giving everyone plenty of room to manoeuvre. It’s worth noting that Day 1C is played with a 20-minute clock
Late registration remains open until the end of the tenth level, and the curtain comes down on the day’s proceedings when only 20% of the field remains. Those surviving players bag their chips and return for Day 2 on February 1.
Day 2 continues until only 12 players remain, with those hopefuls sitting down on February 2 to conclude what should be a remarkable Main Event.
