The United Arab Emirates has introduced its first-ever regulated national lottery, a significant development in the country’s entertainment and gaming sector. As of July, The Game LLC, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, has been licensed by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) to operate the UAE Lottery, marking a historic moment as the nation’s only regulated lottery service. The inaugural live draw is scheduled for December 14, featuring a ‘Lucky Day’ grand prize of AED 100 million. Additionally, the lottery will offer seven ‘Lucky Chance IDs,’ each guaranteeing winners AED 100,000.
The UAE Lottery introduces a variety of gaming options exclusively available to UAE residents aged 18 and above. All participants must be physically present within the UAE to engage in the lottery, emphasizing the localized nature of the gaming experience. Tickets are available for purchase on the official UAE Lottery website, with pricing structured to encourage wide participation.
