In a recent earnings call, Keith Smith, CEO of Boyd Gaming, detailed that the groundwork for Cadence Crossing is slated to commence in November 2024, with doors expected to open to the public in early 2026. According to KTNV Las Vegas, nestled on a sprawling 15-acre site at the intersection of Boulder Highway and Warm Springs Road, the casino will be an integral part of the burgeoning Cadence community, which plans to house over 12,000 residences upon completion.
The initial phase of Cadence Crossing will feature a 10,000-square-foot casino space, equipped with 450 slot machines and a variety of dining establishments. This layout is specifically designed to accommodate future expansions that align with the growth of the Cadence community. Prospective enhancements include additional casino space, a hotel, and more amenities, aimed at catering to an expanding resident base.
While an exact date for the groundbreaking has yet to be announced, the anticipation builds as the Jokers Wild remains operational during the construction phase but will ultimately close once Cadence Crossing is operational.
