Check out our list of some of the best things to do in Sin City for Halloween this year! The best Las Vegas parties, shows, pub crawls, activities, and open bars! Plus, a new spooky slot machine review and the best online slots for Halloween!
Hello friends, and welcome to this special Halloween edition of This Week in Gambling! And hey, you don’t have to be in Nevada to have fun on Halloween… but it doesn’t hurt! We’ll discuss all the
Las Vegas parties and open bars in a moment, but we’re starting our program with a look at some of the fun stuff you can do if you’re in Sin City, including the thrilling
Halloween maze, with creepy fun and heart pounding experiences around each corner… all for just $40 per person. Kick things up a notch at Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum, with creepy lighting theatrics and jump scares, starting at just $54. Slot lovers can head to the Downtown Grand where they will earn points for prizes during the Spooky Slots promotion on games like Mo Mummy, Casper and Frankenstein! And for a meal like no other try Dining in the Dark, where guests enjoy a seven course meal in complete blackness! Just half a mile off the strip and $100 per guest.
Of course, there’s way too much going on in
Las Vegas to possibly discuss it all in just one video, so we’re just sort of hitting the highlights and major events. But if you want a scare… and I mean a good scare… it’s hard to go wrong with Las Vegas Escape Rooms! Your choices will range in intensity and price, with some putting you in the middle of horror films like “IT” and “The Blair Witch Project”, while others offer a more classic who done it murder mystery. Try a chilling escape from a haunted hotel or another based on the popular Saw movies. These experiences will add the Fright to your Halloween night at a price that won’t break the bank!
However, if you’re the type of person who would rather watch than participate, there are still plenty of Las Vegas shows that will help lift your spirits so to speak, starting with ABANDON, winner of the 2024 best of Vegas award. A horror filled experience with psychological terror, grotesque beauty, and a performance that will haunt you. If psychological thrills are your thing, then try the Paranormal show, combining hypnosis, magic, and mind reading in a production that seems to defy logic! Something a little less intense is the
Zombie Burlesque Show, set in 1958 where the un-dead have taken over the world. This show features comedy live music and an award-winning cast. Lastly, the long running Chris Angel Mind Freak is an immersive, 75-minute show with over 50 mind blowing illusions, pyrotechnics, and cutting edge technology!
If you’re one of those poor souls that can’t make it to Las Vegas for Halloween, don’t worry! Because you can enjoy the spooky holiday sitting right where you are, starting with our newest slot machine review for the Big and Bad Howling Wilds, a five reel, three row game from Eclipse that follows up on their player favorite Big and Bad game, with wilds, free spins, and jackpots! Or if you prefer games you can play now, our Halloween slots playlist has many spooky online favorites available for free play, as well as land based slot machine reviews that are perfect for the Tricks and Treats!
And finally this week, the good stuff parties: Pub crawls and open bars! And when it comes to
Las Vegas parties, one of the biggest and the best promises to be
Twisted Tent, an “immersively “haunting experience taking place at Area 15 on the evening of October 30th. Costumes are welcomed at this spine tingling, jaw-dropping, mind-bending good time! Then there’s the Sin City Halloween Ball on October 26th, an annual, adults only party at Virgin Las Vegas, also known as the world’s wildest fetish and fantasy party! Head down to
Fremont Street Halloween evening for the Rock of Horror Halloween Bash with a costume contest and live entertainment across three stages! Also down on Fremont Street, we have the Haunted Manor at Circa Las Vegas! A costume party at the Legacy club with an open bar for beer, wine, and select specialty cocktails! But if you really want to get your freak on, stay right there in downtown for the Freaks on Fremont! The first ever Halloween night street party in downtown Las Vegas, with local DJs and a full bar!
And if you’re interested in a Las Vegas pub crawl, there are several to choose from: Two of them on Fremont, and one of them specifically for Halloween! Prices start at just $40 and range all the way up to $85. Now ,if drinking at one of these Las Vegas parties isn’t enough… and drinking at one of these bars isn’t enough… and and drinking during one of these pub crawls isn’t enough… you have a choice to make: You could either seek professional help or take your game to the next level and find an open bar! And there are a couple of them in Las Vegas during the week of Halloween: One at Raised by Wolves, the other at Senior Frogs! They range in price from $25 to $35, depending on if you want to drink for an hour or all night. Now go, enjoy, have fun, and be safe!
