When Caesars Virginia opens later this year in Danville, it will have its own Gordon Ramsay restaurant. The casino resort’s Ramsay’s Kitchen will be the first eatery in Virginia to license the celebrity chef’s name and likeness.
Though it hasn’t been confirmed, the multi-Michelin-starred TV personality is expected to be the guest of honor at the property’s opening.
Ramsey’s Kitchen is inspired by travels abroad, according to a press release from Caesars Entertainment.
Caesars Virginia sets the standard for approachable luxury, and I’m so proud to open my first restaurant here inside this beautiful resort,” Ramsay said in the release. “My longstanding partnership with Caesars has proven to be a fan favorite time and time again. I’m beyond excited to continue that here in the Commonwealth of Virginia by sharing my take on global cuisine.”
Ramsay’s Kitchen will offer signature dishes such as beef Wellington, crispy skin salmon, pan-seared scallops, and a 24-ounce bone-in ribeye.
“Ramsay’s Kitchen brings an elevated dining option not just to our resort, but it brings a world-class option that the region hasn’t seen,” Chris Albrecht, senior VP and GM of Caesars Virginia said in the press release.
Virginia is for Casino Lovers
Caesars Entertainment is investing $250M in its Virginia casino resort, located just north of the North Carolina border and developed in association with the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.
Dubbed the “big bad boy” by Barron Fuller, Caesars’ president of regional operations, the integrated resort will feature 320 hotel guestrooms and a casino floor with over 1,300 slot machines, 85 live dealer table games, 24 electronic table games, a World Series of Poker room, and a Caesars Sportsbook.
The resort will also include a full-service spa and resort-style pool, several restaurants and bars, a 2,500-seat concert venue, and more than 50K square feet of convention and meeting space.
