The Celebrity Poker Tour (CPT) and its popular Game Night sit n’ go style poker event returns Monday night at 6 p.m. PT on PokerGO. PokerNews will be on-site to conduct interviews and provide other content.
Game Night III is headlined by Hustler Casino Live player and social media personality Bryce Hall and popular podcaster Tana Mongeau. They’ll be joined at the table by an entertaining cast of celebrity opponents, including Ethan Klein and wife Hila Klein, JC Caylen, Zach Justice, Steiny, Makoa, and Sofie Dossie.
Hall has appeared on the CPT in the past. Back in an Invitational tournament in February, he played a memorable hand against chess star Alexandra Botez, who missed the nut flush draw to bust against a better ace-high.
You Can Bet on the Action
Hall is no slouch on the felt, and he’s shown that with over $13,000 in profits on HCL, according to TrackingPoker.com. Poker fans can get in on the CPT action with the Fliff social sportsbook.
Current odds show Hall at +400 to win the CPT Game Night III, second only to Mongeau (+300), co-host of the Cancelled Podcast, which has over 2.4 million YouTube subscribers.
Mongeau put on a strong performance in Game Night II a few months ago, but fell to poker vlogger Alexander Wolfgang Seibt heads-up for the title. She’s looking to finish one spot higher on Monday, and if she does she’ll have a little something to brag about on her next podcast.
If you’re looking to back a longshot, contortionist Sofie Dossi’s odds of +1500 are juicy if you like to gamble. Dossi memorably went all in with her feet — yes, her feet — at the Celebrity Poker Tour Invitational in May. The unique all-in move didn’t work, however, as she busted in the hand with trips against superior trips.
Fashion designer and comedic YouTuber Hila Klein is another longshot at +1000 odds. Her husband, Ethan Klein, however, checks in at +500, right behind Mongeau and Hall. The Kleins co-host the H3 podcast which has nearly 3 million followers on YouTube.
If watching a bunch of hoodie-wearing robots sit silently and tank-fold seven-deuce preflop under the gun all night excites you, the Celebrity Poker Tour probably isn’t going to be up your alley. But if you’re into crazy hands, chips flying around, and fun personalities competing in a juicy poker game, you’re definitely going to want to check it out on PokerGO Monday night.
