COLORADO
RELATED: Colorado commit list
Deion Sanders is doing things his way and clearly nobody can tell him any different. That being said, take a minute to think about the missed opportunity that’s right in front of him. Sanders has chosen to not go out on the road to recruit prospects because he thinks “it’s going to be pandemonium” at the high school and coaches at nearby high schools will be turned off by him not visiting their school. It wasn’t like that for Nick Saban, Kirby Smart or other highly recognizable coaches when they took helicopters to make their stops at various high schools.
If Sanders were to visit a high school, how would the prospect he was there to see feel knowing that Coach Prime was making him a priority recruit? If Sanders believes his presence at a high school would be so impactful, why not go and get the players he wants?
Instead of taking advantage of what he believes is an obvious advantage, his Colorado program is sitting at No. 92 in the team recruiting rankings with just six commitments (two three-stars and four four-stars).

FLORIDA
RELATED: Florida commit list
Billy Napier and the Gators coaching staff are in a tough situation. Last season didn’t go well and this season is going to be even tougher. They’ve lost a lot of recruiting momentum and it’s showing with this 2025 class.
Florida only has 10 commits so far. Yes, four of them are Rivals250 prospects but the low total is not going to cut it, even with a potentially very active transfer portal cycle. Every SEC team except Vanderbilt has more commitments than Florida right now.
The lowest Florida has ever finished in the team rankings is No. 23. It currently ranks No. 57 and second-to-last in the SEC.

PURDUE
RELATED: Purdue commit list
It seems like Purdue’s recruiting classes alternate between good years and bad years. Over the last four years the Boilermakers have finished No. 28, No. 69, No. 32 and No. 72. Right now Ryan Walters and company sit at No. 58 in the 2025 team rankings and if Purdue hopes to move up in the football world, this isn’t the way to do it.
With four-stars such as Rivals250 cornerback Dawayne Galloway and outside linebacker Grant Beerman leading the way, Purdue is trending toward signing a smaller class. A class of less than 20 signees won’t do it any favors in the team rankings.
