Actress Shannon Elizabeth, a longtime poker player, will host a charity poker event through the Charity Series of Poker (CSOP) on Wednesday, July 3 in Las Vegas.
The tournament, which takes place at the Stirling Club at Turnberry Place, will benefit the Shannon Elizabeth Foundation, originally a dog and cat rescue that has evolved into helping more animals on a much bigger scale.
In partnership with poker pro Matt Stout and his CSOP organization, poker players interested in helping a good cause while having an enjoyable evening of cards can compete in the 1st annual Rhino Rumble Championship. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. on Day 1a of the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event with a cocktail hour.

Tournament play kicks off at 7:00 p.m., and costs $300 to enter, which includes admission to the cocktail reception. Rebuys and add-ons cost $100, and players can rebuy as many times as they’d like (the more the merrier as the proceeds go to the Shannon Elizabeth Foundation).
As is standard with the Charity Series of Poker, the winner of the tournament will take home $5,000. There will also be another $9,000 worth of donated prizes handed out to those at the final table and as bounty prizes.
Elizabeth, who has over $240,000 in The Hendon Mob cashes, will be competing in the tournament and chatting it up with the guests in attendance. The American Pie actress will be joined at the charity event by fellow actress Katie Morgan, Jay Wasley from Ghost Adventures, poker pro Melanie Weisner, and former race car driver and environmentalist Leilani Munter.
