Duy Ho is the latest player to make a significant mark on the PokerNews Deepstack Challenge (PNDC), following the trail blazed by Week 1 leaderboard winner Raymond Chiu.
Ho triumphantly lifted the second PNDC trophy, after pulling off back-to-back victories as well as a tenth-place finish to pull off the biggest points haul of any player taking part in the PNDC.
Here is everything you need to know about the PokerNews Deepstack Championship at the 2024 World Series of Poker.
Duy Ho’s Journey to Top Spot
Ho’s week was nothing short of spectacular. On Friday, June 7, he emerged victorious in the $200 Deepstack, outlasting a field of 256 entries to claim a prize of $8,398.
Not resting on his laurels, Ho returned the following day to dominate the $250 Daily Deepstack. This time, he triumphed over 410 participants, securing another first-place finish and a more substantial prize of $15,209.
A resident of Hawaii, Ho is no stranger to the poker scene. With more than $1 million in live earnings, Ho has built a reputation for making deep runs on poker’s biggest stage.
Notably, he finished 5th in the 2012 World Series of Poker (WSOP) $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em event, earning $185,378.
Two years later, he reached another WSOP final table, pocketing $51,198 in the $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em tournament. Additionally, last June, he won a $400 Daily Deepstack, adding $31,723 to his earnings.
