Euro 2024 gets underway on Friday and the stage is set for a super summer of football. There is no shortage of contenders to be crowned European champions, but England and France are dominating the market.
Of course, the Three Lions and Les Bleus have plenty of talent at their disposal, but the prices appear to have overlooked the chances of one or two nations.

Red Devils flying under the radar
There has often been big expectation on Belgium at major international tournaments and promise has regularly become pressure.
The Red Devils failed to deliver time after time with what was dubbed a golden generation, and a group-stage exit in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar was the latest disappointment.
However, there is little expectation on Belgium at Euro 2024, with few speaking of Domenico Tedesco’s men as tournament winners and that is reflected in odds of 16/1.
Belgium can still call on the brilliant Kevin De Bruyne and it’s a squad packed full of talent with Romelu Lukaku, Jeremy Doku and Leandro Trossard forming a fearsome front three.
There is change to the Red Devils at the back, but an ageing defence needed to be freshed up and replacing former boss Roberto Martinez with Tedesco looks anything but a downgrade.
Belgium are unbeaten in their last 15 matches and the group-stage draw in Germany looks kind. Tedesco’s men will fancy their chances in a section containing Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine and it’s a group that Belgium really should win.
Should the Red Devils finish at the top of Group E, a tie with a third-place side would await at the last-16 stage of Euro 2024, and suddenly the tournament could open up for Belgium.
At 16/1, the Red Devils look to have far more going for them than the prices suggest.
Turkey to make amends for poor showing
It’s difficult to forget Turkey’s disaster at Euro 2020, but 50/1 is a pretty big price to show some forgiveness.
The Crescent Stars are a young and progressive outfit and they look better equipped to avoid a repeat of their no show three years ago.
Inter star Hakan Calhanoglu has the quality and poise to control and dictate the pace of the game and there are options in attack, with Arda Guler, Kerem Akturkoglu, Baris Yilmaz and Kenan Yildiz.
Portugal are the standouts in Group F, but Turkey will have strong hopes of pipping the Czech Republic and Georgia to second and there is enough in the price to take a chance on Vincenzo Montella’s men going well in Germany.
