There is always fresh renovation work happening in Sin City. One exciting change is currently happening at Paris Las Vegas, where the resort is seeing the addition of balconies for some of their rooms.
This is actually part of the Horseshoe renovation work, as they old Jubilee tower that was part of Bally’s has been turned over to Paris Las Vegas. It will now become the Versailles tower, and the work in progress to rebrand the tower includes these balconies.
The views of the Strip from these new rooms should be amazing, although we doubt anyone at Cosmo will be too jealous. However, the renovated rooms at Paris will have a great view of the Bellagio fountain show, as well as the activity at Grand Bazaar Shops.
While we wait to see if Paris Las Vegas can complete the new rooms in time to rake in the profits at this years F1 race, there were also changes taking place at the Virgin resort. The Mohegan Tribe will no longer manage their casino floor, via mutual agreement.
Apparently there had been some friction between the Mohegan, Virgin management, and Hilton Hotels over how to run the resort. With the departure of the Tribe, a Virgin representative stated that the property will now run the hotel in a way which is ‘more familiar to Vegas visitors’.
