Sportsbook and iGaming operator Rivalry has announced that Brazil Country Manager Luis Gonçalves will be a featured speaker at the SBC Summit Rio conference on Wednesday, March 6.
Gonçalves will participate in a panel discussion titled “Influencers: The Next Frontier of Social Media Marketing” alongside other executives from Brazil’s gaming sector. The panel will explore the role of influencer marketing in Brazil, including its ability to foster engagement and build communities, best practices for operators, and strategies to protect vulnerable young players.
Brazil represents one of Rivalry’s key international markets, in which the company currently operates through its Isle of Man license, the Canadian esports bookmaker said in a statement.
The company noted it is closely following Brazil’s plans to transition to a fully regulated betting market and intends to seek a license in due time. “Rivalry believes its established brand identity and customer base in Brazil will position it well for continued success once regulations are introduced,” according to a press release.
SBC Summit Rio is a conference and trade show that aims to provide insights into the Brazilian market by bringing together senior executives from Brazil and globally. More than 3,000 industry professionals from the country’s sports betting and iGaming ecosystem are expected to attend the inaugural 2024 edition.
