Mobile sports betting is finally legal in North Carolina, and renowned Caesars Entertainment, Inc. is the first to launch its operations in the state.
Caesars to be launched in North Carolina:
Caesars Sportsbook app is available at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee, as well as Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel in Murphy. The customers are also able to place their bets on tribal lands that belong to the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.
The sportsbook is already live on tribal lands, and the launch in the whole state is expected on March 11.
Eric Hession, a President of Caesars Digital, said in a press release: “The Caesars Sportsbook app is the perfect complement to our in-person retail sportsbooks in Western North Carolina that so many sports fans have enjoyed for years. We’re thankful to be able to offer wagering at the Harrah’s Cherokee properties as part of our longstanding relationship with the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, and with the sports calendar heating up, there is a lot to be excited about. Thank you to the National Indian Gaming Commission, the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, the North Carolina State Lottery Commission, and its Sports Betting Committee for making this day a possibility.”
Michell Hicks, a Principal Chief of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, added: “Over the years, the partnership between the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and Caesars Entertainment has only flourished and strengthened. We eagerly anticipate the chance to introduce mobile sports betting to North Carolina, offering a fresh and new experience to all sports fans.”
Caesars Sportsbook is already popular among the players in North Carolina since it’s present in various retail locations, so it’s expected that the app will reach the same popularity. The app offers various options, including quick payouts and deposit options that work for each type of player. The features are user-friendly, and the overall experience is smooth and seamless.
This impressive sportsbook contains fantastic features such as fast scoreboards, same-game parlays, prop betting markets, various advanced in-play betting options, live streaming, various sports events, and many more thrilling features that will keep the players on the edge of their seats during sporting events.
Responsible gaming practices and players’ protection:
The players must be at least 21 years old in order to register.
The players will be able to enjoy an advanced loyalty program, Caesars Rewards, and get Tier Credits and Reward Credits. Tier Credits increase their status, and Reward Credits grant some fantastic prizes, including visiting Caesars casinos and hotels all over the country, bonus cash that can be used in the app, enjoying various culinary and entertainment options in Caesar’s properties, and many more interesting options.
Refer a Friend feature also can bring up to 50.000 Caesars Rewards credits.
One of Caesar’s main goals is to promote Responsible Gaming practices and ensure the employees and players are educated about the best practices and how to conduct them. The company changed its 21+ gaming policy back in 2023, so only players who are at least 21 can participate in the Caesars Rewards program. Also, all other operations are limited to the ones younger than 21, if the country’s law allows that.
On top of that, the company’s employees are obligated to participate in a Responsible Gaming training program once a year, which allows them to identify and help the ones who might have a gambling addiction problem or any kind of gambling issues.
