Casino and hospitality giant MGM Resorts International has been named one of the top employers for veterans in the United States, according to the Military Times‘ Best for Vets: Employers list. The ranking places the company at the top in Nevada and as a leader in the hospitality sector nationally.
The Best for Vets: Employers ranking is widely recognized in the military community as a reliable assessment of employment opportunities for veterans. This ranking is based on an analysis of corporate policies and practices that make a workplace attractive for members of the military community.
The accolade underscores MGM’s culture, recruitment and policies for Veterans, service members and military families. MGM Resorts has a history of active recruitment and hiring of veterans, in addition to providing retention through professional development programs.
The company says it cultivates an inclusive atmosphere for veterans, demonstrated through initiatives such as its Employee Network Groups and its active participation in the Veteran Jobs Mission, a coalition of companies aiming to place one million U.S. military members and veterans in meaningful careers.
