M Resort Spa Casino in west Henderson, Nevada has unveiled a new Tesla Supercharger station, boasting 24 charging points. The station, positioned in the southeast guest parking lot near the main hotel entrance, is set to facilitate both local and long-distance travel for Tesla drivers.
Hussain Mahrous, VP and general manager of M Resort, expressed enthusiasm about the new addition, stating: “This new offering will provide a convenient way for Tesla drivers to stay charged and will help with both local and long-distance travel for our guests.”
This marks the second Tesla Supercharger station in Henderson, with the other located at the Railroad Pass Hotel and Casino on Boulder Highway.
As of December 2022, Nevada has seen a substantial surge in electric vehicle registrations, totaling more than 32,950. This reflects a noteworthy increase from 2021 when the number stood at 17,400, according to a report from Experian Information Solutions.
Tesla stations have also been expanding in other states, with casinos seeing a new opportunity in adding them to their offerings. Maine’s Hollywood Casino Hotel & Raceway Bangor, in July, introduced six Tesla Electric Vehicle charging stations to its infrastructure.
These charging facilities, operational 24/7, were integrated on the hotel entrance side of the parking garage’s second floor.
