The World Poker Tour (WPT) World Championship won ‘Event of the Year’ at last year’s Global Poker Awards and one of the reasons was because of all the festivities that complimented the poker action. That included a top-notch Players Party at one of Las Vegas’s best immersive venues – AREA15. Well, the party is back at the same venue on December 11!
“As players discovered last year, AREA15 provides the ultimate player party experience in its uniqueness and fun, interactive nature,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska. “We cannot wait to see everyone there and continue the celebration of the biggest WPT event ever.”
The WPT Players Party will occur from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. the day before the $10,400 buy-in, $40 million GTD WPT World Championship gets underway.

What’s in Store?
The festivities will span three unique areas at AREA15 – Starting at Asylum, the venue’s spacious arcade bar equipped with a multitude of game options, and later in the night moving to Portal, one of the most versatile and futuristic event rooms in the world where guests can expect a visual and sound experience like none other, themed around WPT. VIP players will also get access to The Wall, a private area with live music and a chill atmosphere.
Headlining the music for the night will be DJs Fergie, Max Styler, Sub Zero and LEFIH. The artists will be accompanied by other entertainment around the venue, such as acrobats, dancers, and more. There will be an open bar, decadent food available, and other activities as well.
How Can You Attend?
All you need to do to attend the WPT Players Party is present a tournament buy-in or satellite receipt for either the WPT World Championship, WPT Prime Championship, or WPT Ladies Championship and you’ll receive a wristband that’ll get you in.
What’s more, you don’t even have to drive or Uber to the venue at the WPT will be offering shuttle busses rotating from Encore Las Vegas to AREA15 every 30 minutes (the last shuttle will depart the party at 1 a.m.)
