Gaming solutions supplier and operator Intralot SA has announced an extension of its OPAP numerical games contract until 2026. Under the expanded agreement, Intralot will continue providing the Greek numerical lotteries and sports betting operator the license of its flagship LOTOS X lottery engine software and the development of all related functionalities.
The development follows OPAP’s decision to exercise its right to extend the agreement with Intralot by one year, from August 1, 2025 until July 31, 2026. Intralot and OPAP have further agreed to grant the Athens-based operator the right to exercise two further one-year extension options, under the same terms, to July 31, 2027 and July 31, 2028, respectively.
“Intralot looks forward to continuing cooperation with OPAP in providing high-quality, next-generation software and services in the field of numerical games for over 35 years,” the Greek supplier said in a statement.
The agreement is the latest deal for Intralot thus far this year, which back in June entered into a 10-year contract to provide system technology for Taiwan’s Public Welfare Lottery. The agreement was worked out between CTBC Bank, which has been awarded the license by the Taiwanese government to manage the lottery; and LotRich Information, a Taiwanese joint venture in which Intralot is a significant shareholder.
